HELLO!

My name is Alexia Albor Dominguez. I have a BBA in management and leadership with a minor in Italian (Loyola Marymount University). I have a copyediting certificate (University of San Diego), a filmmaking program certificate (NYFA), and a film and television industry program certificate (NYU).

I am the editorial coordinator of Grupo Editorial Latitud 21 in Cancun, Mx., where I edit two magazines called “Brújula” (social) and “Latitud 21” (business). I also have a monthly column in Brujula called “Seamos Auténticos,” where I write about my passions, relevant topics, or even short fictional stories. Since I am very passionate about literature and film, I provide a monthly book and movie recommendation at the end of my column so I can interact with readers.

Likewise, I work independently with companies needing a copyeditor to support editing in the communication and marketing departments. I currently work with The Dolphin Company as a copyeditor.

I am a true believer that one's health, mental and physical, stands as a priority. When I was little, I went to dance classes where I could release my energy and express my emotions. Now, I am a Barre coach and teach classes at RAD Studio, Cancun.

I am very passionate about traveling and giving the right amount of importance to every corner of this world. Languages are magical since they are vital to connecting deeply with diverse cultures. I am from Mexico, but I lived for one year in Switzerland and six years in the United States. Therefore, I speak four languages: Spanish (native), English, Italian, and French.

In my book time, oh, I wanted to say free… In my free time, I like to read many books in any presentation: physical books (my go-to choice always), audiobooks, and digital books (Kindle). I also love watching movies and knowing all the background information, mainly about the production, the actors, the director(s), etc. I enjoy spending quality time with my family, friends, and boyfriend/best friend/accomplice (if someone wants to write about long-distance relationships, you found the perfect girl for the job). I have a Pomeranian dog named Cosmo, and he is the cutest. My favorite outing is to go to the cinema and appreciate a movie on the biggest screen possible. Are you ready to take your book to its biggest and most authentic potential possible?
